Bright Tin SLOTOTIN 70

Bright Tin SLOTOTIN 70 is a sulfuric acid-based electrolyte designed for depositing very bright tin coatings in both rack and barrel applications. Bright deposits are formed at low current densities, making it ideal for plating parts with complex surface geometries.

Key Features:

  • Excellent Solderability: Maintains excellent solderability even after heat aging tests (e.g., 16 hours at 155 °C).

  • Low Temperature Operation: Recommended to operate at low temperatures to minimize cloud formation caused by tetravalent tin compounds.

  • Customizable Brighteners: Different brighteners are available for rack and barrel applications.

  • Minimal Foaming: Contains slightly foaming additives, preventing excessive foam formation, especially beneficial for barrel applications.

  • RoHS Compliant: Adheres to the RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regarding limits for lead, mercury, cadmium, Cr(VI), polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

  • NPEO-Free: Additives are free from nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPEO).
